Curos Disinfecting Cap for Needleless Connectors from 3M is an alcohol-containing cap that attaches to ports for disinfecting and safeguarding. 70% isopropyl alcohol is included in each Curos cap, bathing and sanitizing the port surface in a single minute. Regular utilization of Curos disinfecting caps on I.V. needleless connectors has been linked to diminished CLABSI.
