K2EDTA Tubes with 10.8 mg liquid solution are capable of yielding both whole blood or EDTA plasma samples. The Tubes are 13 x 100 mm with 6 mL draw volume. The Hemogard closure is specially designed for convenience; it has a recessed inner design and a plastic covered shield to prevent contact with the blood on the stopper or outer rim.
